A Marriage Between Honesty and Anger

People are honest when they’re angry.

They’re irrational too, I’ll grant,

but at least they say things that are true.

When you get people angry, they’ll tell you exactly what they think of you.

“You’re just like your mother!” they might say,

even though they know that everyday you fear that you might be like her.

You learn a lot about people by getting them angry.

You have to see the depths to which they’ll sink, in order to truly come to know them,

and sometimes they teach you about yourself too.

I mean, who really are you?

Are you what others perceive,

or what you believe?
